Political Parties

National-
  • Supporting families and members to turn away from the gang lifestyle.
I think this is a good policy because this will help New Zealand's crime to happen less and their family that got a great shock, National will help them to recover.

  • Allowing courts to stipulate GPS monitoring on high-risk family violence offenders.
I think this is not very good because it would be hard to watch all those monitors and if they miss the important incident there is going to be very serious problem.

  • Give every school high quality ultra-fast broadband and faster broadband to ensure every student can benefit from technology to achieve their best.
This will affect me directly because this will help me learn more.

  • Encourage neighbouring schools working in densely populated areas to work together to share facilities, infrastructure, and capacity.
  • Make the construction sector more productive by expanding the Apprenticeship Reboot to a total of 20,000 places and reducing compliance costs.
Replace the KiwiSaver First Home Deposit Subsidy with a KiwiSaver HomeStart                    Grant, doubling the support for buying a new home and increasing the house price limits.

Labour
eliminating violence against women and children,
I think this is a good idea because there are many places and people that doesn't respect women and children.an Aged Care Commissioner to ensure our seniors are respected,
I think this policy is not that very good because there are many elders that are rich and it is not fair for others.
Restore $13m per year for Adult and Community Education
I think this will affect me directly because the education will develop and I will be able to learn better.
We will do away with the Families Commission and focus funding on an independent Children’s Commissioner.
Establish an independent Climate Commission, which would establish a carbon budgeting process for achieving significant emissions reduction targets.

Seek to play a leading role in international climate change negotiations for binding reductions in greenhouse gases, in a comprehensive and effective treaty.
