Academic Excellence-

Research Rimu- Where do you find it? Why is it important to
māori? What uses does it have? Why Rimu the best tree in the school?


Where do you find it?


The Rimu trees are only found in New Zealand, they are found from northland through to Stewart island.




Why is it important to māori?
Rimu is important to Māori because they were used for sores and medical treatment.


What uses does it have?
They have lots of uses but some of them are wood sources for house construction.


Why is the Rimu the best tree in the school?
I think the Rimu is the best tree in the school because it has many uses and its unique because it only lives in New Zealand.
